Here are
some of the planets, apart from Earth, mentioned
in DB-Z-GT:
Planet Vegeta:
The planet where the Saiyan race lived.
They had in the past invaded it and stolen it
from another race, and named it Vegeta after
their king. Planet Vegeta, and most of the
Saiyans, were wiped out before the DB story began
by Freeza.
Planet Namek:
The Z warriors met Freeza and his
fighters on this planet in DBZ where Goku almost
killed him. Namek is the home of the Namekian
race, who invented Dragon Balls. One of the main
reasons the Z gang went to Planet Namek was to
use their Dragon Balls. Namek was a peaceful
planet until invaded by Freeza. This planet was
destroyed by him as well, but the inhabitants
were wished back on a new planet.
King Kai's Planet:
A planet inhabited by King Kai, a monkey
called Bubbles, and a cricket called Gregory.
This tiny planet is where some characters are
sent to train after they die (more info can be
found on the Life After Death page). There are
other planets inhabited by other Kaios, but they
are not really visited in the series.
