Here is a
list of strange items that are used in the
series.
Dragon Radar
A Dragon Radar is a device invented by
Bulma which locates the Dragon Balls. The Balls
emit a specific amount of electricity which makes
them possible to locate. The picture can be made
clearer by turning the thing on top. This device
is used all throughout the series.
Capsules
When Toriyama created Dragon Ball, he didn't want
the characters to always be carrying around
luggage. He solved this problem by inventing
capsules. Capsules allow you to shrink anything
and store it in a capsule, then release it again
when the capsule is thrown. They are made by the
Hoi Poi Capsule Corporation (aka Capsule Corp),
which is run by Dr. Briefs (Bulma's father) and
are used throughout the series for carrying
anything from vehicles to houses.
Scouter
A device used in the DBZ Freeza saga. It
lets you see the power level of your enemy.
Freeza's men used them to find Namekian villages
and take their Dragon Balls from them. One elder
of Namek found out about the Scouters and
destroyed them to prevent the bad guys finding
any more Namekian villages.
Senzu Beans
Senzu Beans are grown by Karin and
eating one is like eating food for 10 days. They
are used a lot when the Z warriors are training,
and can heal a person from near death to perfect
health in seconds.
