| This saga was only in the anime and
did not take place in the main storyline. It is
like a long movie. After a
long time, Garlic Jr. has escaped from the Dead
Zone. He goes to Kami's lookout and traps Kami
and Mr. Popo in a bottle. Then he unleashes the
Black Water Mist on the Earth that would turn
everyone into greedy, jealous demons and attack
each other.
Gohan
is fed up of studying so he flies out of the
window with his friend Icarus the dragon. They
make their way to Kame House. Krillin, his new
girlfriend Marron, Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong and
Muten Roshi are there. Chi Chi arrives looking
for Gohan. When the Mist reaches the island,
everyone apart from Krillin and Marron, who were
in the sea, is turned into a demon. Gohan
arrives, escaping the Mist, to find his friends
attacking him and each other. Garlic Jr.'s people
the 'Spice Boys' land on the island and say the
only way to reverse the Mist is with the Sacred
Water. Piccolo arrives but is bitten by a demon.
This gives the same effect as breathing in the
Mist.
Gohan
and Krillin take Marron to stay with Yajirobe and
Karin while they go to Kami's place. When they
get to Kami's lookout Gohan sees Garlic Jr.
Garlic Jr. says how he was freed by the Makiyo
star. He tells his demons to attack Gohan.
Piccolo starts to fight Gohan. At one point, he
goes up to Krillin and 'bites' him. Then Krillin
and Piccolo both attack Gohan. This gives Piccolo
a chance to go near the bottle and free Kami and
Mr. Popo. Piccolo was not really affected by the
Mist as he was already a demon. He was just
pretending to bite Krillin but was actually
telling him his plan to attack Gohan to get close
to the bottle.
Mr.
Popo and Kami go to release the Sacred Water in
the holes beneath Kami's place so the 7 winds
could blow it around the world. They set off but
they have to hurry up because if they don't make
it by dawn the effects will be permanent. They
have to travel through the souls of all the
previous Kamis and it is a dangerous journey. As
Kami is attacked, Piccolo who is still fighting
against Garlic Jr., is also weakened. Eventually
Popo manages to unleash the Water so all the
demons around the world are reversed.
The
Makiyo Star is getting nearer and Garlic Jr. is
immortal so attacking him is no good. Garlic Jr.
opens a new Dead Zone to absorb everything. Gohan
protects his friends with an energy shield and
destroys the Star. Garlic Jr. becomes weakened
and is trapped in the Dead Zone again. Once again
the world is saved by, the Z warriors.
A
few days later, Krillin and Marron decide to get
married. Krillin goes with Gohan to get a pearl
from the sea, but in the end they don't get
married after all and Krillin is single again.
