Garlic Jr.

Garlic Jr. and his father Garlic do not appear in the manga. In fact, Garlic is not seen in the anime either. Garlic was sent to the Dead Zone after challenging Kami to be guardian of the earth and failing. He died in the zone and his son, Garlic Jr. went to Earth to avenge his father's death. He gathered the Dragon Balls and wished for immortality. Garlic Jr. was defeated when he tried to suck everything into the Dead Zone, but fell into his own trap. Since he was a Makiyo-jin, he gained power from the Makiyo Star and in the Garlic Jr. saga he was freed from the Dead Zone. Garlic Jr. tried to turn everyone on Earth into demons, but the world was saved by pouring the Sacred Water over the Earth. He then opened up the Dead Zone again, but again he got trapped inside.
