Freeza was the head
of a group of warriors who went around
the universe gaining power. He was afraid
that he could be defeated by the powerful
Saiyan race so before DB began, he
invaded and destroyed the Planet Vegeta.
Only a few Saiyans survived either
because they were in space at the time or
taken in as one of Freeza's fighters. The
survivers were Goku, Raditz, Vegeta,
Nappa and in the movies, Taurus, Brolli
his father Paragus). Freeza appeared in
the show in the Freeza saga in DBZ. His
main fighters were Zarbon, Dodoria, and
the Ginyu Force, but they were all killed
by the Z warriors on Planet Namek. Like
Cell, he also has different forms. Freeza
went to Planet Namek to use the Dragon
Balls to gain immortality. Vegeta was
also there, and so were Bulma, Krillin,
and Gohan. The Z Warriors managed to stop
Freeza getting his wish, and he was
killed when he destroyed the planet.
Everyone thought Freeza was
dead, but he was found and repaired by
his father King Cold. They came to Earth
at the start of the Android saga, but
were finally defeated by Future Trunks.
