| Dragon Balls are magical crystal
spheres. Collecting all 7 will make a dragon
arise and grant any one wish. Each has a
different number of stars, from 1 to 7, and in
the Japanese version, each Dragon Ball has a
name. When your wish has been granted, the Dragon
Balls are scattered all over the world and turn
to stone. They can't be used for another year. There are 3
types of Dragon Balls:
The
Earth Dragon Balls are introduced from the start
of DB, and grant one wish. In DBZ in the Android
saga, a new set of Earth Dragon Balls is created,
and these can grant 2 wishes. The Earth Dragon is
Shenron/Shenlong.
The
Namek Dragon Balls are introduced in the Freeza
saga in DBZ. They are the original Dragon Balls
made on Planet Namek. They are more powerful so
they are way bigger than the ones on Earth. They
grant 3 wishes. The Namekian Dragon is Porunga.
In
DBGT the Black Star, or Ultimate Dragon Balls are
introduced. They are found all over the universe,
not just on one planet. They are so powerful that
a wish made using them can't be undone with any
other Dragon Balls.
