| Cell builds his outdoor stadium and
announces the 'Cell Game' on TV. Goku and Gohan
leave the training room as Super Saiyans. Piccolo
is next in line. Goku thinks the training he did
was not enough, but doesn't want to do any more.
He says 9 more days will be enough time to
prepare. They decide to take it easy for a while.
Piccolo finishes training and Vegeta takes his
place in the training room. One day when they are
all out in town, they notice the army being
destroyed by Cell. Goku thinks they should get
some Dragon Balls (they disappeared when Kami and
Piccolo fused) so he decides to go to Planet
Namek to get a new guardian. The Elder of the new
Namek lets Dende be the new guardian of Earth as
he had friends there. Dende's Dragon Balls are
soon created and Goku sets off to find them. The
people on Earth watch how Mr. Sataan, martial
arts champion tells them how he will defeat Cell. Goku is
looking for the new Dragon Balls. He finds Tao
Pai Pai also collecting Dragon Balls and goes
into his building to ask for them. Tao Pai Pai
says Goku can have the Dragon Balls if he can
undo three finger puzzles by the next morning. He
does not say that they will escape with the
Dragon Balls during this time. Goku agrees and
stays up all night undoing the puzzles. When he
is finished the next morning, he surprises the
enemies by teleporting to where they were. They
are so shocked they hand over the Dragon Balls.
Goku finds the last one and makes his way back.
The
Cell Game is beginning. The Z warriors arrive and
stand by the ring. #16 was fixed by Bulma and is
now on their side. Mr. Sataan and his TV crew
(one cameraman, a girl, and 2 fighters) are also
there talking about the greatness of Mr. Sataan
etc. Most of the world's population is watching
on a TV of some sort, either in their homes or in
the street. The game begins as Cell asks for his
first challenger. The two fighters with Mr.
Sataan make a flashy entrance but are defeated
with no effort. The Z warriors let Mr. Sataan go
next, but he is sent flying into a mountain
without harming Cell at all. Now with them out of
the way, the real fight could begin. Goku goes
first as Mr. Sataan and his TV crew watch.
Goku
and Cell fight for a while but get nowhere. Goku,
even though he is not very injured, says he is
tired and stops fighting. The Z warriors wonder
what on earth is going on as Goku tells Gohan to
fight next. Gohan does what his father says and
fights with Cell. This fight however is going
nowhere either. Gohan tells Cell he doesn't want
to fight anymore and if he got really angry his
real power would be revealed. Cell decides he
wants to see this power for himself and starts
beating up Gohan even more. But Gohan doesn't
want to get angry. Piccolo tells Goku he
shouldn't let this happen to Gohan as he is just
a kid and doesn't know why he has to fight. At
home, Chi Chi is getting hysterical, pounding on
the TV and cursing Goku for letting Gohan get
beaten up.
Cell
gets bored because Gohan is not getting angry so
he decides to cause pain to his friends. He
starts this by stealing the senzu beans from
Krillin. Android #16 leaps up and grabs onto
Cell, hoping to self-destruct and take Cell with
him. But Krillin shouts to him that the bomb
inside him had been removed by Dr. Briefs so it
wouldn't hurt anyone. Cell blows the android into
smithereens. His head lands nearby.
Gohan
still isn't angry enough so Cell releases 7
minions called Cell Juniors. They make for the Z
warriors and start to attack them. The head of
#16 which is near Mr. Sataan asks to be taken to
Gohan. The head lands near Cell and tells Gohan
he should use his power to help everyone, just
before Cell puts his foot on the head and smashes
it.
Gohan,
now not afraid to let his anger take control,
becomes angrier than ever, and powers up to...
Ssj 2! With this new found power, Gohan gives the
senzu beans back to Trunks and kills all the Cell
Juniors. He then turns on Cell and weakens him a
great deal. After one more Kamehameha, Cell is
considerably weak and now almost unable to fight.
Goku screams to Gohan to kill Cell while he has a
chance, but the young Super Saiyan wants to see
his enemy suffer. Eventually, Gohan gives Perfect
Cell a final blow. Cell makes some strange noises
and spits up the body of #18. Cell goes back to
his weaker form. Now that he is no longer
perfect, Cell says his only hope is to self
destruct and take the planet with him. Cell
starts to inflate to a huge size. Krillin looks
after #18 as everyone looks horrified.
Once
again it is up to Goku to save the Earth. He
walks up to Cell and placing his hand on the
monster bids farewell to his son. Goku and Cell
disappear from the Earth, and are teleported to
King Kai's planet. Cell explodes, killing Goku,
King Kai, Bubbles and Gregory.
It
is now getting dark. The area on Earth where the
battle was is a ruin. The camera had stopped
working a while ago and Mr. Sataan is cowering
with the other four behind some rocks. The Z
warriors wonder if it is really over while Gohan
cries, wishing he had listened to his father and
killed Cell while he had the chance. Up on the
Snake Way, Goku and King Kai do not see Cell
anywhere. They realize with dread that Cell must
still be alive. On Earth, everyone is surprised
when a beam shoots through the darkness and kills
Trunks. Cell is back in perfect form, and
explains he regenerated from one surviving cell.
Vegeta, in a rage flies up and starts shooting
numerous energy balls at Cell. Cell, annoyed
knocks back Vegeta and is just about to kill him,
when Gohan jumps in front and takes the blast. He
gets up, but one of his arms is seriously
wounded.
Cell
begins to power up a huge Kamehameha. The
surviving Z warriors try to help, but nothing is
doing any good. Vegeta manages to wake up and
shoot a powerful blast at Cell, giving Gohan a
few seconds. Goku speaks to his son through King
Kai and encourages him to make a Kamehameha to
overpower Cell's. Gohan agrees and makes the most
powerful one-handed Kamehameha blast he could.
Cell fires his beam at the same time as Gohan and
they meet in the middle. After a long time,
Gohan's beam manages to overpower Cell's, and the
monster is finally blasted into oblivion. Gohan,
exhausted from the battle falls to the ground and
laughs.
When
everyone wakes up, Mr. Sataan proclaims himself
as the winner to the public (although the Z guys
know better). The good guys go to Kami's lookout
to make their wishes. With the first wish,
everyone on Earth who was killed by Cell is
revived. Goku is not back, but he tells them all
that it is OK and he would like to stay dead for
a while. Krillin uses the second wish to remove
the bombs from androids #17 and #18.
The
Z warriors say their goodbyes and Gohan returns
home to tell his mother about Goku. Trunks says
goodbye to his father and returns to the future.
After Future Trunks gets back, he kills the
androids and when Cell appears in the future,
Trunks also kills him.
