| Seven years after the end of the
Cell Game, all has been peaceful on Earth and
things are very different than before. Krillin
and Android #18 are married and have a little
daughter called Marron. Krillin also has hair.
Gohan is going out with Videl, who is going to
the same high school as him in the city, and is a
superhero called the Great Saiyaman. He has a 7
year old brother, Goten, who is best friends with
Chibi Trunks. Both of them are a lot stronger
than their parents at that age. The Tenkaichi
Budokai is approaching, and everyone has a month
to train. They find out Goku will be granted a
day back on Earth so he can take part. On the day
of the tournament, the contestants meet at the
island. Everyone is happy when Goku arrives,
apart from Goten. He is a little scared as this
is the first time he's seen his dad. Everyone
goes to sign up, but Goten and Trunks have to go
in the kids section. They easily defeat everyone
in their section and the final is Trunks vs.
Goten. Eventually Trunks wins. The boys want to
take part in the main tournament for a bigger
challange, so they steal somebody's clothes and
pretend they are a grown up.
The
main tournament is starting. When it is Gohan's
turn to fight against Kibito, he turns into a
Super Saiyan. His Great Saiyaman disguise falls
off and the crowd find out that the superhero is
actually Gohan. As the fight starts two
characters, Supopobitchi and Yamu, appear. They
both have 'M's on their foreheads. They suck up
all Gohan's energy into a lamp and run away. Then
another competitor, Kaioshin, and Kibito restore
Gohan's energy and tell the Z warriors about an
evil guy, Babidi and Dabura the Prince of
Darkness, and their plot to ressurect Buu. Babidi
was turning evil people into demon slaves who
would absorb peoples energy. If they get enough
it would be possible to ressurect Buu. Kaioshin,
Kibito and the Z warriors follow Supopobitchi and
Yamu to Babidi's ship. Supopobitchi has given the
energy to Buu and Babidi has killed him.
On
the way to Babidi's ship, the Z warriors are met
by Dabura, who turns Piccolo and Krillin into
stone. They will only be changed back if Dabura
is killed. So the rest of them go into Babidi's
hideaway and are faced with an enemy on each
floor. Vegeta defeats the first one, and Goku
defeats the second one. On the third opponent,
Gohan goes to fight, and finds out he is against
Dabura. Dabura however stops fighting, because he
says there will be a new opponent. Babidi used
his magic to turn Vegeta into a slave, as he had
evil inside him. Vegeta becomes Majin Vegeta, an
'M' forms on his forehead and he reaches Ssj2.
Babidi
teleports everyone to the Tenkaichi Budokai
stadium. Goku doesn't want to fight with Majin
Vegeta, so Vegeta kills lots of people who are
watching the tournament. Goku then has to agree
so they are teleported to a place where there
aren't any other people. They start to fight, but
the energy they give off revives Buu. Majin
Vegeta realizes that his evil will always lose to
good. He finds Buu and self destructs, hoping to
kill Buu as well. Unfortunately it does not work.
Goku tries to fight Buu but he is too strong. He
manages to turn Ssj 2 and then Ssj3.
Bulma
gathers the Dragon Balls and wishes for everyone
killed by Babidi to be revived. Buu splits
himself into 2 parts, one good, and one evil.
They start to fight and Evil Buu eats Fat Buu.
Gohan goes to train with Kaioshin using the Z
sword. Before his time on Earth is up, Goku
teaches Goten and Trunks the Fusion Dance and
they eventually learn how to fuse into Gotenks.
Piccolo trains Gotenks and makes Buu wait outside
the room. Buu however wants to fight with him and
Piccolo gives in. When Buu enters the room,
Piccolo locks the door. Buu and Gotenks fight and
Gotenks turns Ssj3. They escape from the room and
as they are fighting they destroy Kami's lookout.
Unfortunately, the fusion wears off while Gotenks
is looking for Buu.
But
Gohan has finished his training and is able to
turn into Mystic Gohan, where he is as powerful
as a Super Saiyan without having to transform.
Gohan fights against Buu but Buu blows up. They
are just about to leave when Buu appears again.
Trunks and Goten fuse again, but Buu absorbs
them.
Dai
Kaioshin and Goku watch this from the afterlife,
and Kaioshin gives up his life so that Goku could
live again and fight against Buu. Kaioshin gives
Goku a pair of Potara earrings so he could fuse
with someone permanently. Then Kaioshin and
Kibito fuse using the earrings. King Yama (from
the underworld) grants Vegeta life to fight Buu.
When they arrive on Earth, Piccolo, Tien and
Gohan are also absorbed. Only Goku and Vegeta are
left, so they put on the Potara earrings and fuse
into Vegetto. Vegetto fights with Buu and gets
himself absorbed so he can save everyone else.
The fusion is then reversed. Goku, Vegeta,
Trunks, Gohan, Goten and Piccolo escape Buu's
body.
Buu
is enraged and makes a fireball to destroy the
Earth. Kaioshin and Goku teleport Vegeta, Dende,
Mr. Sataan and his dog Bee to another planet.
Earth is destroyed and all the inhabitants are
killed. Buu finds Goku and they start to fight.
Mr. Sataan jumps in and distracts Buu until he
spits out Fat Buu. Fat Buu fights with Evil Buu
but loses. The Namek Dragon Balls are collected
and the Earth is restored. Vegeta asks for the
second wish to be used to revive every person on
Earth who was not evil. The people are all put
back on the earth and Vegeta's halo disappears.
This means Vegeta is now truly good. Goku starts
to charge up a Genki Dama while Vegeta keeps Buu
busy.
On
Earth, the other Z warriors try to convince
everyone to raise their arms and give their
energy to the Genki Dama. Nobody listens as they
think these people are crazy. But King Kai helps
Vegeta call everyone in the universe to help
them. Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Piccolo raise
their arms. Then the Namekians and people on
Earth who knew Goku and had been helped by him in
the past also raise their arms. Mr. Sataan
manages to persuade the other people to help too
and the Genki Dama is now getting very big.
The
final wish is used to restore Goku's energy, and
he releases the massive attack on Buu, finally
killing him. Everyone cheers. Fat Buu joins the Z
warriors as he is Mr. Sataan's friend and helped
save the world. Everyone goes back home and Fat
Buu goes to live with Mr. Sataan. Later on the
Earth Dragon Balls are used to erase the people's
memories of Evil Buu.
Ten
years later, there is another Budokai. Vegeta and
Bulma's daughter, Bra, is born and is now aged
around 5. Gohan and Videl are married with a 4
year old daughter, Pan who is already very
powerful. Everyone enters the tournament and Goku
asks to be against a 10 year old boy named Uub.
This kid is actually the good reincarnation of
Evil Buu. Goku decides to train Uub and tells
everyone not to worry for he will be back soon.
Goku and Uub fly away, as the Dragonball Z story
ends.
