| This is a mini saga, it is usually
fitted in with the Red Ribbon or Piccolo Daimaou
Sagas. Goku sees Uranai Baba and she lets
him talk to grandpa Gohan for a while. Muten
Roshi tells Goku that there is another Tenkaichi
Budokai in 3 years. Yamcha decides to train with
Roshi, and Goku trains by himself by travelling
around the world. Three years later, the Dragon
Ball gang meet up, ready for another Budokai.
They
meet Tenshinhan (Tien) and Chaozu, and Tsuru
Sennin, who is Muten Roshi's rival, and also
wants revenge for the death of his brother, Tao
Pai Pai. Tsuru Sennin looks like a clown. During
the matches, Krillin beats Chaozu, and Tien
manages to beat Jackie Chun, and meets Goku in
the final. They have one of the closest matches
in Dragon Ball, but Tien manages to beat Goku in
the end.
They
all go to lunch, and make friends with Tien and
Chaozu. Krillin, who went to get something for
Goku, is heard yelling, and when Goku runs to
find out what happened, he finds his friend has
been killed. They find out it was a green
creature named Tambourine, and the Z warriors run
off to find out more.
